Stop Motion

I really like the way 'Somebody that I used to know' was made so I decided to do some research on the video and how it was made. It is a music video directed by Natasha Pincus and it uses stop motion. Stop motion is an animation technique to make a physically manipulated object appear to move on its own.

I really like how the artists and the background are painted in the video, using stop motion. I think it is very interesting how they mix normal recording with stop motion.
